HAGERSTOWN – Boonsboro Medical Services invites residents to participate in a free community CPR and “stop the bleed” training event hosted by the Washington County Public Safety Training Center. This hands-on training will equip attendees with essential lifesaving skills, including CPR, bleeding control techniques and the use of opioid-fighting agent Narcan.
The first training session this year will be March 8, with others set for June 14, Sept. 27 and Nov. 8.
Each session will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Washington County Public Safety Training Center, 18350 Public Safety Place.
This free community event welcomes participants of all ages. No prior registration is required, and drop-ins are encouraged. For those needing CPR recertification, an optional certification is available with a $25 donation. The full training lasts approximately two hours.
