ORRTANNA – Adams County Winery will be the venue Sunday for a unique culinary experience as Ziggy Donuts joins forces with the winery to present a donut and wine pairing event. The event, which celebrates Donut Day a few days early, promises to delight attendees with a carefully curated selection of handmade donuts paired with a choice of dry or sweet wines.
Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a flight of four donuts, each crafted with distinct flavors: raspberry lemonade, caramel pretzel, chocolate ganache and sea salt, and strawberry apple. These sweet treats will be complemented by a choice of two wine flights. The dry flight includes seyval, traveler, harvest blend and stray cat strut, offering a range of crisp and fruity notes. Alternatively, the sweet flight features razzberry red, Goldie’s apple berry bliss, twisted thicket and cotton candy dreams, perfect for those with a sweeter palate.
Pre-registration is required for this exclusive event, which will take place at the winery’s tasting room 251 Peach Tree Road, Orrtanna. In addition to the pairing, guests can also purchase extra donuts and boxes in preparation for Donut Day on March 4.
