David John “Jack” Shoemaker, 81, of Chambersburg, passed away at Wellspan York Hospital, Thursday February 13, 2025. He was born March 27, 1943 to the late Lillian (Greenawalt) Shoemaker and Earl Shoemaker in Chambersburg, PA.
Jack served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and was later employed at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, PA. He was most recently employed by Snavely’s Garden Center in Chambersburg, PA. In his free time, Jack enjoyed gardening and reading.
He is survived by his daughter Adria Champion and her husband Chad, brother Roy Shoemaker and his wife Cindy, sister-in-law Jody Shoemaker, brother-in-law John Schetrompf, and 3 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Wayne Shoemaker and sister Debra Schetrompf, and longtime companion Cindy Shore.
