Mr. Lewis C. Stoner, 89, passed away Monday, January 7th, 2025, at Paramount Nursing and Rehab.
Born November 12, 1935, in Clear Spring, MD, he was the son of the late John I Stoner and Ella Mae Toney.
He and his wife of over 51 years, the late Mrs. Anna M. (Ely) Stoner, were married July 25, 1970.
Mr. Stoner is survived by his children: Gregory A. Stoner, Carlena M. (Stoner) McBride, Stacey L (Stoner) Higgs, Shawn T. Stoner, Chester Ely, Debra (Sprankle) St Clair, Teressa Sprankle, Jeffery Sprankle; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one brother, Garnett Stoner.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Calvin Stoner, John Stoner, Minnie Stoner, Anna Mae (Stoner) Brown, and Nancy Smith
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Grove-Bowersox Funeral Homes, Waynesboro, is handling the arrangements.
