Mr. Donald Russell Dingee, 83, of Hagerstown, died Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Western Maryland Hospital Center, Hagerstown. He was the husband of the late Edna Marlene Snyder Dingee, who preceded him in death on January 11, 2004.
Born August 27, 1930, in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Ralph Quimley and Winifred Hall Dingee.
Donald worked 24 years for Mack Truck, Hagerstown.
He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Clear Spring.
Additionally, he was a member of the S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. chapters of Hagerstown and Charles Town, West Virginia.
The family wishes to offer special thanks to the doctors and staff of two east of Western Maryland Hospital Center, for their love and wonderful care.
Donald is survived by his children, Karin S. Shobe and husband John of Boonsboro, and Keith S. Dingee and wife Christi of Williamsport; as well as four grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is handling the arrangements. There will not be visiting or viewing at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2:00 PM, at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Clear Spring.
