Mrs. Mildred Virginia Boward Kemp, 94, of Hagerstown, died Saturday, March 14, 2015, at NMS Healthcare, Hagerstown. She was the wife of the late Edgar Charles Kemp, who preceded her in death on September 4, 2000.
Born July 15, 1920, in Hagerstown, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd Ellsworth and Elsie May Fogle Boward.
Mrs. Kemp is survived by her children Bonnie L. Kemp of Catonsville, and Connie L. Stouffer, Barbara J. Kemp, and Richard C. Kemp, Sr., all of Hagerstown; eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren; as well as her sister Doris Brandt, of Hagerstown.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Oscar Kemp; a grandson Jeremy Kemp; and three brothers.
The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is handling the arrangements. There will not be a viewing or visiting at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at 11:00 AM, in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Leitersburg, with Rev. James F. Gano officiating.
