Mrs. Cynthia Georgette “Peep” Reed Lowe, 70, of Walkersville, died Wednesday afternoon, April 6, 2022, at Frederick (MD) Health.  She was the wife of the late Anthony Grant Buttry Lowe, Sr., who preceded her in death in February, 1977.

Born September 11, 1951, in Olney, she was a daughter of the late Herman Leroy, Sr., and Mary Lee Thompson Reed.

Peep was employed with Thanksgiving Farms, Adamstown, for almost 30 years.

She very much enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife, flowers, gardening, and her job. Her family, friends, and animals meant the world to her.

Surviving are her children, Anthony Grant Lowe, Jr., and fiancee Jessica Crawford of Poolesville, Brandi Dee Lambright and fiance William Lease, Jr,, and Jake Lee Lowe and fiancee Karrie Crawford, and Debra Fraley and husband Wayne, all of Dickerson; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Anthony, Wesley, Richard, Timothy, Jacob, Evelyn, Jake, Lita, Travis, Jenny, Amber, Branden, Kayla, Savannah, Hannah, Dustin, Matthew, Alexis, Cameran, and Jaxton; and her great grandchildren Stephen, Sarah, Paisley, Hayden, Aurora, and Kinsley.

Peep is also survived by siblings, Patricia Hamby, Herman Leroy, Jr., Benjamin Melvin, Arthur Patrick, Michael and Pamela Reed, Victoria Andrews and Beverly Stitely; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson Grant; great granddaughter Tarah; and brothers Wayne Malcom, Sr., and Kelvin Reed.

The family will receive friends at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 East Antietam Street, Hagerstown, on Wednesday, April 13, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Thursday April 14, at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Shawn M. Bushman officiating.  Interment will be in Forrest Oak Cemetery, North Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg, on Thursday, at 1:00 PM.
