Pet of the week is … Minnie!
This sweet girl came into our care in May 2026 and is hoping to find her forever home now! Originally, she was supposed to be a TNR kitty but she decided the outdoor life wasn’t for her anymore. Minnie is very affectionate and loves being petted, especially when it comes to ear scritches and head rubs. She can be a little bit grumpy when she feels someone else is in a bad mood, but don’t let her grumbles fool you; a single pet is all she needs to be happy again! She even enjoys her belly being rubbed when she offers it! Miss Minnie isn’t a huge player while here in our care but she does love treats, especially lickable treats and catnip!
Minnie is good with other cats and has previously lived with them, but she does get overstimulated in new areas and when meeting new friends, so she will likely growl at first and will need time to warm up. We have not seen her with dogs. She is good with kids who are gentle with her.
Minnie is 2 1/2 years old, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
