Three teams have had the opportunity to take their best shot at the Midget football team from Waynesboro.
All three of those challengers have been trampled by the Stallions.
It’s been a fast start to the season for Waynesboro, the last remaining undefeated youth gridiron squad from the LocalNews1.org coverage area. A competitor in the Capital Football Association’s middle-tier Federal Conference, the Stallions are 3-0 and have smoked their competition by a combined 70-13 score.
Waynesboro is having a quality start at all levels, as the Stallions also own a 2-1 record at both the Peewee and Pony levels.
The Chambersburg Trojans have been able to roll with the punches in the top-tier National Conference. Chambersburg’s Peewee (1-2), Pony (2-1) and Midget (2-1) squads are all enjoying a share of first place in their respective divisions.
Liberty Division members Greencastle and Chambersburg Blue own three combined wins from their six teams and both programs will be aiming to gain traction in the weeks to come.
