WAYNESBORO, Pa. — The Waynesboro Community Concert Association will launch its 2026-27 season with a performance by patriotic vocal and dance quintet The Satin Dollz on Sept. 13.
The concert will begin at 3 p.m. in the Oyer Auditorium at Waynesboro Area Senior High School.
Formed in Hollywood, California, in 2005, The Satin Dollz deliver a high-energy performance inspired by World War II-era USO Camp Shows. The international ensemble features vocalists and tap dancers performing tight harmonies in vintage attire. Their repertoire includes 1940s favorites such as “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “Straighten Up and Fly Right,” and “Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree.”
Single tickets are $30 at the door and online. Admission is free for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, though students in eighth grade or below must be accompanied by an adult.
Season subscriptions cost $60 and include reciprocal access to performance lineups hosted by community concert associations in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and Hagerstown, Maryland. Concert organizers will also offer complimentary scoops of Antietam ice cream before the show.
Founded in 1936, the all-volunteer, nonprofit Waynesboro Community Concert Association presents live entertainment across genres ranging from classical and Broadway to pop, folk, and jazz. The performance is booked in partnership with Live On Stage Inc., an agency supplying attractions to community concert organizations nationwide.
