HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Families preparing for the new school year are invited to attend a Free Family Fun Day on Saturday, Aug. 15, featuring free school supplies, children’s activities and community resources.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1253 Mt. Aetna Rd. in Hagerstown.
Organizers will provide a variety of free services and activities designed to help families get ready for the upcoming school year. Attendees can receive back-to-school supplies, snacks, haircuts and new shoes while enjoying a day of family-friendly entertainment.
Children will have the opportunity to enjoy bouncy castles, a petting zoo, a dunking booth, firefighter activities, crafts, games and toys throughout the event. Representatives will also be available to share information about county services and other community resources available to local families.
