CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The Chambersburg Area School District announced that transportation information will be available to view on the new Stopfinder app starting Monday, Aug. 10.
Parents are encouraged to review their contact information in Sapphire, as transportation information will also be sent to all parents and guardians with active emails.
If any changes in transportation information are needed, parents will need to contact the student’s school building. Questions or issues with the app should be sent to [email protected].
Families should also expect a 15-minute difference in afternoon bus arrival times due to changes made in school dismissal times.
What is Stopfinder?
Stopfinder is a mobile app launching districtwide for the 2026–2027 school year that allows parents and guardians to view their student’s transportation schedule. It provides real-time arrival and departure alerts at bus stops and schools, along with notifications about early or delayed routes.
Registered users can add multiple students to their accounts and share live bus tracking with family members or caregivers. The app also supports specialized schedules, including bus transfers and split-family arrangements.
The app includes a map for viewing selected bus routes, where parents can set customized geo-alerts for arrival and departure notifications. The transportation department can be directly messaged within the app.
