Kuhn, Myers post runner-up finishes at Path Valley Speedway

Bradyn Kuhn and his MBK Motorsports team have been scratching and clawing all year long to gain any kind of traction on the 2026 auto racing season.

It hasn’t always been easy for the Greencastle driver, but he took a big step forward at Path Valley Speedway last weekend.

Competing in the 270 Sprints, Kuhn finished second behind Jason Houtz. Another Greencastle driver, Aidan Crouse, landed in sixth place. It was the best finish of the season for Kuhn, Path Valley’s defending track champion.

While Kuhn is aiming to regain his 2025 form, fellow Greencastle driver DJ Myers has been no stranger to Victory Lane in the Limited Late Models division. Myers just missed another win at Path Valley, as he finished second behind Kyle Lear. Myers and Lear were chased to the finish line by Chambersburg’s Gunnar Walls (3rd), Mercersburg’s Kyle Lee (4th), and St. Thomas’ Mike Walls (7th).

Also at Path Valley, St. Thomas’ Doug Sales claimed ninth in the Thunder Cars, while the East Coast Legends feature included three local drivers in the Top 10: Fairfield’s Lincoln Kearchner (4th), Greencastle’s Logan Jones (5th), and Fayetteville’s Mike Kelley (10th).

McGrewBid Motoplex served as the backdrop for a night that saw two area drivers land Top 10 finishes. Greencastle’s Todd Walls finished second in the 500cc PA Micro Midgets, while Waynesboro’s Mya Gordon took ninth in the 300cc PA Micro Midgets.

The World of Outlaws were in town last week and paid a visit to BAPS Motor Speedway. The WoO came up empty in this case, with York’s Chase Dietz conquering the 30-lap 410 Sprints feature. National Sprint Car Hall of Famer Lance Dewease finished in seventh place.

Hagerstown Speedway hosted a race program last weekend, but was rained out before any features could be completed. Lincoln Speedway was also rained out, while Port Royal Speedway enjoyed a scheduled weekend off from racing.

Below is a track-by-track, feature-by-feature look at races from last weekend that included drivers from the LocalNews1.org coverage area:
