GREENCASTLE, Pa. — Franklin County firefighters responded to an industrial incident Saturday afternoon in Guilford Township that left one person injured.
Crews from the Franklin Fire Company were dispatched around noon to Franklin Storage, located at 900 Kriner Road, for what officials described as an “industrial incident.”
According to fire officials, the victim was initially reported to be trapped in a machine. However, by the time emergency personnel arrived, the individual had already been removed.
First responders established a landing zone at the scene to allow for air medical transport. The victim was subsequently flown to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not released the identity of the individual, and the extent of the injuries remains unknown.
No additional details about the cause of the incident were immediately available. The situation remains under investigation.
