SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — Shippensburg Township Park will host a new community event this weekend as the inaugural Shippensburg Pirate Festival sets sail on Saturday, June 20.
The festival, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 304 Britton Rd., will feature a full day of entertainment, including live shows, music, games and a variety of food and merchandise vendors. Organizers say the event is designed to offer a family-friendly atmosphere while introducing a unique, themed experience to the area.
Admission is $10 per person, with onsite parking and restroom facilities available for attendees.
Festival organizers describe the event as the first of its kind in the Shippensburg area, combining elements of live performance and interactive activities centered around a pirate theme. Guests can expect costumed performers, themed entertainment and opportunities for children and adults to participate in games throughout the day.
