HAGERSTOWN, Md. – Candidate forums for 2026 are being offered by the Hagerstown Area Religious Council in partnership with the League of Women Voters and the Washington County Library.
Forums are free and open to the public with non-partisan moderation, and all candidates will be invited. The religious council also invites readers to submit questions to be considered for use at the forums.
The schedule includes:
Thursday, May 7, 6-8 p.m. – Board of Education primary
Thursday, May 21, 6-8 p.m. – County Commissioners primary
Thu., Oct. 1, 6-8 p.m. – Board of Education general
Thu., Oct. 15, 6-8 p.m. – Commissioners, general
Forums will all be at the Washington County Free Library, Rooms 308-309, 100 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown.
