In loving memory of Dominic Desiderio Shambaugh, 24, who passed away unexpectedly at his home in Chambersburg, PA on March 21, 2026. Dominic was born on May 6, 2001, in Portsmouth, VA. Dominic was the one and only cherished son of Jana Shambaugh, and his father is Brandon Shambaugh. They both nurtured him with endless love and devotion. He was particularly close to his beloved mother, Jana, whom he adored with unwavering loyalty. They shared a special bond that was a testament to the loving and compassionate nature that defined him. Dominic was a proud 2019 graduate of Chambersburg Senior High School. An avid guitar player, Dominic’s melodies often filled the air with joy and inspiration. His love for hiking took him to the heart of nature, where he found peace and solace amid the towering trees and winding trails. His gentle spirit and infectious smile, accentuated by the cutest dimples that lit up every room he entered. Dominic is survived by his loving parents, Jana Shambaugh (Michael Schuchman) and Brandon Shambaugh (Alethia Shambaugh), and his siblings, Dianna Pama, Victoria Shambaugh, and James Guerrero. His Grandparents, Edgar Seal, Eric and Brenda Shambaugh, his Lola Zenaida Kinniburgh (Ronald), whom all grieve the loss of a son, brother, and grandson whose life was a testament to kindness and love. He is also survived by his Aunts, Jodi Bishop (Rick Plyler), Desiree Kinniburgh, and Erica Toole (Joshua), and their six children. His Uncles, John "Trey" Jones III, Keith Seal, James Kinniburgh, and Angelo Pama, and his Cousins, Brittany and Cody Bishop, as well as Brianna and Gage Jones. Together, they will carry forward Dominic’s legacy of compassion and generosity. Dominic is predeceased by his grandparents, Glenda Seal, Treva Jones, and John I Jones II, Dominic is now reunited with them in eternal rest. A Celebration of Life service will be held at The Orchards Restaurant on a later date, where family and friends will gather to pay tribute to Dominic’s life, and reflect on the cherished memories, and find comfort in knowing that Dominic’s spirit will forever be with us. Though Dominic’s time with us was tragically brief, his legacy of love and compassion will endure in the hearts of all who knew him. May we honor his memory by living with the same joy and generosity that he embodied every day of his life. Rest in peace, Dominic. You will be forever loved and deeply missed and will always be your "Mom’s Sunshine". Online condolences may be expressed at sellersfuneralhome.com.
