WAYNESBORO, Pa. – Fire crews from multiple departments responded to a blaze at the Stover Apartments on the corner of West Main Street and Grant Street around 9 p.m. Tuesday.
According to initial reports, firefighters from the Borough of Waynesboro Fire Department, Long Meadow Volunteer Fire Company and Waynesboro Volunteer Fire Department arrived quickly and contained the fire before it could spread through the building. Crews worked to ventilate smoke from the structure after the flames were extinguished.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No injuries were immediately reported.
