We have to talk about Bruno! He is a sweet guy who is looking for a special home. Bruno is blind and does have an odd way of walking due to a neurological disorder. His whole world was turned upside down when he was surrendered to the shelter because his owner could no longer care for him. He was very confused and needed a little extra help adjusting to shelter life. Bruno has made strides since his arrival and is a happy guy!
He is a 1-year-old mixed breed dog who enjoys attention and is very lovable. Bruno does need some help navigating around objects but otherwise he does very well! He will need someone who understands his issues and is willing to work with him to adjust to a new home life. He would do best in an adult-only home. He is possessive of his food around other animals, but who can blame him when he can’t see what’s going on around him? He will need to be fed separately if he goes into a home with other animals. Can you give Bruno his second chance? CVAS, 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, Kennel License#2090

Rosie arrived at the shelter in immense pain and not able to use her back leg. It was found that Rosie had broken her femur in several places so badly that it was better to amputate the leg. She underwent surgery to have the leg removed and is now healed and ready to find her loving forever home. She is a 1-year-old patch tabby girl who is so sweet and can do everything that a four-legged cat can do! She has been through a lot in her short life and now really wants a place she can call her own. Could you help Rosie out?
