GREENCASTLE– The Greencastle-Antrim School District is partnering with the Lillian S. Besore Memorial Library to host a free puppet show for the community’s youngest residents.
The event, designed for children from birth through preschool age (who have not yet entered kindergarten), is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the library, located at 305 E. Baltimore St. in Greencastle.
Each participating child will receive puppets and books to take home. Space is limited, and registration is required. A snow make-up date is set for Saturday, March 7, at the same time.
The program is made possible by the Franklin County IMPACT Grant, the Greencastle-Antrim Education Foundation, the Greencastle-Antrim School District and the Lillian S. Besore Memorial Library.
Parents or guardians can register directly through the school’s Google form. For questions, readers may contact 717-597-3226, ext. 40110.
The event aims to engage young Blue Devils — as the district affectionately calls its students — in fun, early learning experiences through storytelling and interactive play.
