Frederick raced to an early lead while keeping South Hagerstown girls at arm’s length on Wednesday to score a 71-16 victory.
The Cadets (2-0) led 25-3 after the first quarter and 46-10 at halftime.
South (0-3) was led by Aniyah Freeman with 13 points.
Frederick’s Cayenne Pigeon took game scoring honors with 20 points, while Rosie Henson added 13.
