Make it four points championships in two seasons at McGrewBid Motoplex for 15-year-old Trevor Gach, a sprint car prodigy from Chambersburg.
Gach had a big night on the race paths on Friday, winning the 600cc Wingless Micros feature and taking fifth in the Winged race. With the performance, he captured McGrewBid’s points title in both divisions, duplicating a feat he achieved in 2024.
It’s been a solid season for Gach, who has qualified for 41 features this season, with 10 wins and 32 finishes in the Top 5.
Path Valley Speedway concluded its season last weekend with Bull Ring Nationals. The race program was jam-packed with high-performing local talent, including race winners Alyssa Callum and Bradyn Kuhn, both of whom hail from Greencastle. Callum won the Modifieds feature, while Kuhn conquered a 270 Sprints field that included ninth-place Aidan Crouse of Greencastle.
The Limited Late Models feature at Path Valley saw four drivers land in the Top 10: Chambersburg’s Rodney Walls (3rd) and Randy Burkholder (8th), St. Thomas’ Mike Walls (6th), and Hagerstown’s Wes Bonebrake (7th). John Bumbaugh, of Waynesboro, took fifth in the Strictly Stocks race, while Fayetteville’s Chase Beidel finished in 10th. Hagerstown’s Kameron Morral took 10th in the 600 Sprints.
