HAGERSTIOWN – Throughout the month of September, the public is invited to join Washington Goes Purple and the Washington County Art Council in a meaningful showcase of local art expressing the raw emotions and realities of addiction and mental health.
Inviting local artists, this exhibition displays raw, creative expression through a variety of media. The impact of these expressions cannot be understated. With nearly 17 percent of Americans aged 12 and older having used a drug within the last 30 days as of 2023 (American Addiction Center), the issue of addiction is painfully relevant.
