Get a feel for a farm. The October Farmers Market Friday, Oct. 14, from 4-7 p.m. at Fort Ritchie. There will be vendors, hay rides, food trucks, live music and more.
Celebrate the Harvest. Harvest Day will be held Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Cowans Gap State Park. Bring the family out for some fall fun in the park! Pumpkin carving, autumn crafts, horse-drawn hayrides, apple cider press & much more.
Have an apple. Applefest will be held Saturday, Oct. 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Chambersburg. The event will include food, vendors and entertainment.
Check out the tractors. The 41st Annual Tractor and Steam Engine presented by the Grease, Steam and Rust Association will be held at the Fulton County Fairgrounds Oct. 14-16. This year’s show will feature John Deere. Admission is $2.
Play bingo. The Fayetteville Fire Company will host Lucky 7 Luxury Bingo Sunday, Oct. 16 at 10:30 a.m. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., bingo begins at 1 p.m. Tickets are $30.
