The STEAM Express will offer engaging activities in the STEAM Lab, led by Julie Diaz. Additionally, participants can embark on a scavenger hunt, navigating through downtown Waynesboro stores to uncover clues and claim free take-home prizes. The event also features a StoryWalk, showcasing a special story written by Waynesboro kindergarten and first-grade students, beautifully illustrated by local artist Seth Holmes. This event promises to be an exciting blend of science, exploration and community creativity.
The Taste of Downtown event will transform various locations in Downtown Hagerstown into a vibrant culinary scene on Saturday, March 8, from 4 to 7 p.m.. This year’s focus is on “Lite Bites,” offering an exclusive happy hour experience that precedes a guided tour of some of Downtown’s favorite restaurants, including Baile Bagels & Brew, Bulls & Bears, Good Libations, Sofrito Puerto Rican Cuisine, Pretzel & Pizza Creations and The Dog House. Additionally, Wertman Photography will host a vendor marketplace at 59 N. Potomac St., complemented by live music from buskers throughout the area.
