Peaches take center stage as Fort Loudon gears up for a juicy celebration! The Trinity United Church of Christ is hosting the 14th Annual Peach Festival on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fort Loudon Community Center grounds, 142 Mullen St., Fort Loudon. The event will feature more than 100 craft vendors, food and drink options, and free entertainment for kids and families, all to celebrate the community’s love for peaches and local craftsmanship. Applications are now open for food truck, craft, and direct-sales vendors.

The Hagerstown Community College Amphitheater will strike a patriotic chord Saturday as the U.S. Navy Commodores and U.S. Army Blues Band perform at the Red, White and Blue Concerts. The free event, set for Aug. 16, at 6:15 p.m. at 11400 Robinwood Dr., invites all to enjoy a night of music under the stars. Concessions will be available, but outside food and drink are prohibited, ensuring a harmonious experience focused on celebrating military musical talent.

Greencastle’s Antrim Spring Farm is ready to churn up some fun, hosting its Summer Venue Showcase on Saturday, Aug. 16,, at 10 a.m. The event invites the community to savor Scoops on the Square’s sundae bar, stretch out with yoga, groove to live music, shop artisan vendors and enjoy food trucks and drinks. Held at the farm’s scenic grounds, this family-friendly celebration aims to showcase local talent and foster community spirit.

With pencils sharpened and backpacks at the ready, the Chambersburg Church of the Brethren is hosting a Back to School Book Bag Drive that’s sure to delight. On Aug. 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. at 260 S. Fourth St., Chambersburg, the event will offer free book bags filled with school supplies, alongside carnival games, prizes, face painting, cotton candy, popcorn, a moon bounce, music and dinner. Aimed at supporting preschool through high school students, the drive promises a fun-filled evening to kick off the school year with community spirit.

Strum up some fun at the Waynesboro Bluegrass Hootenanny! Music lovers are invited to join Johnny Calamari and Brad Munn at Music Makers, 46 West Main St., Waynesboro, on Sunday, Aug. 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. Bring your bluegrass instruments and enjoy a lively pick, hosted by the Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro, with support from Gallery 50 and Destination ARTS!.
