Raising champions isn’t just for the animals at the Franklin County 4-H Livestock Show and Sale. On Aug. 8-9, the Chambersburg Rod & Gun Club at 3725 Warm Spring Road, Chambersburg, will host a two-day celebration of local youth showcasing their livestock-handling skills. Friday kicks off with the Market Goat Show at 5 p.m., followed by the Market Lamb Show, while Saturday features the Market Beef Show at 9 a.m., the Market Hog Show at 10:30 a.m., and the Livestock Market Sale at 6 p.m., starting with Grand and Reserve Grand Champion animals.
