CHAMBERSBURG – The Franklin County Area Development Corporation will host its Annual State of the Economy event on Tuesday, March 3, at The Orchards Restaurant in Chambersburg. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m., with the program starting at noon.
This signature 40th anniversary FDADC event brings together business and community leaders from Franklin County and the surrounding region for a timely update on the economic factors shaping local and regional growth. Attendees will hear an overview of the group’s 2025 milestones and accomplishments, along with a preview of the organization’s key initiatives and priorities for 2026.
Founded on March 3, 1986, The FCADC will also commemorate its 40th anniversary during this year’s event. The program will include a retrospective look at the organization’s first 20 years and the foundation it built for today’s work, according to L. Michael Ross, the organization’s president since its founding.
