MONT ALTO- Head baseball coach for Penn State Mont Alto, Shawn Kissel, received his 100th win on Friday, April 7, with a 13-2 victory over Penn State Beaver.
This is Kissel’s sixth year with the Penn State Mont Alto baseball program. Most notably Coach Kissel lead the baseball team to a win in the 2022 Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference championship.
Kissel is a Franklin County native, he graduated from Chambersburg Area High School in 1989 and went on to compete on the baseball team at Hagerstown Community College and Virginia Wesleyan, graduating from Virginia Wesleyan with a bachelor’s degree in business. Kissel resides in Chambersburg with his wife and children.
