As wintery weather approaches the region, several area schools have announced delays and cancellations in anticipation of the snowfall. The following districts have issued delays:
- Waynesboro Area School District: Closed. All offices are still operating on a 2-hour delay schedule. The make up day for today’s Snow Day will be Monday February, 19th.
- Greencastle-Antrim School District: Closed
- Chambersburg Area School District: Closed. Offices will open on a two-hour delay.
- Fairfield Area School District: Closed. remote learning day. Instruction will begin for middle school and high school students at 10:00 AM and for elementary students at 11:00 AM. Additionally, all offices will be opening at 10:00 AM. Currently scheduled evening events will continue as planned.
- Franklin County Career and Tech: Closed. Work based learning day, assignments will be provided remotely.
In addition, Washington County Maryland schools were already scheduled for an in-service day, allowing students to enjoy the snow.
