WAYNESBORO– Side Street Strutters announced as the Waynesboro Community Concert Association’s first concert of the 2022-2023 concert season.
It will be held on September 18, 2022 in the Waynesboro Area Senior High School auditorium.
This is WCCA’s annual fall Military Appreciation Concert. Veterans, Reservists, Active Duty and
their families are invited to attend as guests in appreciation of their dedication and service to our
country.
Back in 1983, a group of young aspiring musicians formed a band whose artistic focus centered
around the musical traditions of early New Orleans Jazz. The Strutters entertained guests at Disneyland for 22 years and continue to provide music for special events and movie premiers for the Walt Disney Company. They have presented concerts n 50 states, toured Europe, Mexico and Canada, shared the stage with major symphony orchestras, and performed at prestigious jazz festivals.
For “Singin” & Swingin”, the band has handpicked the best of the best, most popular, exciting
songs from 4 decades of national concert touring shows. Their infectious energy proves they
still love what they do. “Onward and Upward!” celebrates 85 years of WCCA bringing quality musical entertainment to Waynesboro!
