WAYNESBORO – The Waynesboro Area Senior High School track teams delivered standout performances on April 3, earning victories against Shippensburg in a closely contested meet.
The WASHS boys’ team narrowly edged out Shippensburg with a final score of 75-74, showcasing resilience and determination in a nail-biting finish. Every point proved crucial as the athletes worked together to secure the win in one of the closest competitions of the season.
Meanwhile, the WASHS girls’ team demonstrated dominance on the track and field, finishing with an impressive 85-65 victory over their opponents. Their strong showing highlighted depth across multiple events, solidifying their position as a formidable force this season.
