Waynesboro Chamber has full weekend planned

WAYNESBORO – The Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce has many events going on this weekend for people of all age groups. Whether you’re looking for a fun game night, an educational experience or an evening filled with live music, the community has planned activities to keep the weekend lively.

To start the weekend off, on Friday, Oct. 3, the Waynesboro Volunteer Fire Department will host Friday night Bingo. This will be the first of many, as they plan to continue hosting Bingo on the first Friday of every month. This Bingo night will be held at Waynesboro Ambulance Squad, 603 W. Main St., Waynesboro.

Doors for the event will open at 5:30 p.m., with Bingo starting promptly at 7. Packages will begin at $20, and guests can also enjoy a variety of snacks and drinks, including hot dogs, burgers, bacon, fries, candy, chips and more. Bingo nights are always a great way to connect with friends, meet new people and maybe even win a prize or two. Fire department personnel are excited to welcome the community and keep this tradition going strong each month.

The following day on Saturday Oct. 4, from 7-8 p.m. there will be an International Observe the Moon Night in partnership with Tri-State Astronomers. Participants will get to learn about the different phases and features of the moon.

This event is completely free to the public, making it an accessible way for families, students and science enthusiasts to enjoy a night under the stars. Those interested in attending must arrive before 7 p.m. to join in on the experience. It’s the perfect event for anyone curious about space or looking for a fun evening activity.

Finally, on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 6-9 p.m., at Trigger’s Table & Taproom, 118 Walnut St.. Suite 106, there will be a live music night in the Taproom or Backroom. The night will include music from a wide range of styles and talent. Come out and enjoy!
