WAYNESBORO—The Waynesboro Area School District was closed today, Wednesday, due to a threat made on social media late Tuesday night, according to district officials.
“One person is in custody, but I have no information on the person as of this time,” said WASD Superintendent Tod Kline.
School is expected to resume as normal Thursday.
