CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — United Way of Franklin County is urging residents to donate school supplies as its Stuff the Bus campaign continues ahead of the 2026-27 school year.
Donation boxes remain available throughout the county, and some have already begun returning to the organization’s office at 182 S. Second St. United Way said residents may drop off supplies at participating collection sites or deliver donations directly to the office.
The annual drive collects school supplies for students in the Chambersburg Area, Waynesboro Area, Greencastle-Antrim, Tuscarora and Fannett-Metal school districts.
Organizers are seeking donated classroom and student essentials to help prepare children for the start of the school year. The campaign is collecting supplies throughout July and August.
Residents can use United Way of Franklin County’s online map to locate a participating donation site. The organization encouraged community members to contribute while collection boxes remain in place.
