SMITHSBURG, MD – The Town of Smithsburg would like to inform residents of upcoming roadwork in Veterans Park and changes to the recycling schedule for Thanksgiving.
Veterans Park Roadwork
Huntzberry Brothers Inc. will be paving the parking area and roadway in Veterans Park on Wednesday, Nov. 22. Residents are kindly asked to avoid parking in the area that will be paved. The Town of Smithsburg would like to apologize for any inconvenience and appreciates residents cooperation and understanding.
Thanksgiving Recycling Schedule Changes
The Town of Smithsburg’s contractor services for recycling will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23, for Thanksgiving. Residents are requested to put out their recycling carts on Thursday evening for Friday’s pick-up, Nov. 23.
