Totem Pole Playhouse is excited to announce its 2026 Summer Camp lineup, offering young performers the chance to build skills, confidence, and creativity through three engaging programs: Creative Dramatics Camp and two Musical Theatre Camps featuring Beetlejuice Jr. and Descendants.
Designed for a range of ages and experience levels, these camps provide hands-on training in acting, music, and performance—led by a mix of accomplished local artists and theatre professionals from across the country.
New this year, Totem Pole Playhouse has reimagined its camp structure to better meet the needs of families, offering shorter time commitments and more affordable pricing while maintaining the same high-quality experience.
The Creative Dramatics Camp (ages 7–10), running June 22–27, introduces young performers to the fundamentals of theatre through games, storytelling, and imaginative play, culminating in a final performance for family and friends.
For older students, the Musical Theatre Camps (ages 11–18) provide a more intensive, production-based experience. Participants will rehearse and perform either Beetlejuice Jr. (July 6-18) or Descendants (July27-August 8), gaining real-world insight into the rehearsal and performance process.
The Descendants camp will feature special instruction from Theatre Untitled, a New York City-based Off-Broadway group, giving students the opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals working at a high level.
“These camps are a great way for students to explore their creativity, build confidence, and experience the joy of live performance,” said Totem Pole leadership. “Whether they’re just getting started or already bit by the theatre bug, there’s something here for everyone.”
Each camp concludes with a performance, allowing students to showcase what they’ve learned in front of a live audience.
Enrollment is now open, and space is limited.
