FREDERICK, Md. – Jaliah Morgan led South Hagerstown with nine kills and seven blocks on Tuesday in a five-set loss to Thomas Johnson.
The Rebels pushed the Patriots to the limit, but TJ held on for the 25-20, 25-19, 20-25, 17-25, 15-12 win.
Tenley Yost added six kills, eight blocks and two aces to the Rebels’ effort. Morgan Carbaugh had 10 kills and two aces and Madison Hammond provided four kills and six blocks.
Reilly Foley had 24 digs for South, and Aubrey Socks collected nine digs and 30 assists.

Shepherd finishes seventh at TJU Invitational
NORRISTOWN, Pa. — Williamsport graduate Kaylie Brown carded a two-round score of 206 to finish 40th and help Shepherd University to a seventh-place finish on Thursday in the eight-team field at the Thomas Jefferson University Fall Invitational at the Jeffersonville Golf Club.
The Rams finished with a team score of 804. Adelphi carded a 663 to take the team title.
Addison Buckland led the Rams by firing a score of 195 to tie for 33rd place. She was followed by Ella Mochoruk (198, 37th), Natalee Johnson (205, 39th) and Allison Wallace (226, 43rd).
