WAYNESBORO, Md. — The Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library is bringing back “Speakeasy Night!” Tickets are on sale now! Stop by the library.
The library will be split into four sections, each with its own activities and refreshment station with era accurate mixed drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Catering and service will be provided by Christine’s Cafe. The library will also have a beer and wine bar, with beer provided by Michaux Brewing Co.
Cozy up in Capone Corner and play a mobster escape room. Can you escape before the bomb goes off?
Check out the games in the Casino Center including a human slot machine!
Do the jitterbug in Gatsby’s Grotto with live ragtime music provided by Knock On Wood Marimba.
Sit awhile in the Silent Film Spot and bid on amazing baskets in the silent auction. Items include a gift certificate for an eight-person wine tour at Adams County Winery, baskets from the Vintage Flame and Sugar Hollow Farm, and one of a kind, handmade art.
