WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Bill Kohler, of Mainstreet Waynesboro, discussed “Raising the Bar in Downtown Waynesboro” with Waynesboro Rotarians last week.
Kohler and local insurance executive Greg Duffy explained the history of the Main Street park and the adjacent “21 East Main Street Project”. The development consists of renovating the blighted building and preparing it for a restaurant, the Main Street Waynesboro offices and additional spaces of other offices.
The project is funded with a grant from the Commonwealth’s Department of Community and Economic Development and local funds. A fundraising campaign also is under way, with details available at www.mainstreetwaynesboro.org.
