WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Waynesboro YMCA continues to offer a full slate of youth summer sports camps, with several sessions already completed and more scheduled throughout July.
The YMCA kicked off its summer programming with two basketball camps in early June, including a June 8–11 session for children in kindergarten through first grade and a June 15–18 session for second- and third-grade participants. A running camp led by Coach Fuss followed June 23–25 for children ages 6–12.
A basketball camp for fourth- through sixth-grade students is currently underway this week, running June 29 through July 2.
Additional camps are planned throughout July, beginning with a soccer camp led by Coach Tanner from July 6–9 for ages 7–12. A volleyball camp for the same age group will be held July 13–16, followed by a pickleball camp July 20–23 for ages 10–14. The month will conclude with an all-sports camp July 27–30 for children ages 6–12.
All camps are scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. Fees are $65 per child for YMCA members and $95 per child for non-members.
Sports and Fitness Director Whitney Wolf said registration remains open for all upcoming sessions. Those interested can contact Wolf at [email protected] for additional information.
