WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Waynesboro’s annual Firecracker Run and Kids 1-Mile Run on July 4 drew more than 200 participants, with Waynesboro Police Officers Miller and Velazquez joining children along the course. Ryan Raseo, 23, of Hagerstown, Maryland, won the male overall title, while Caroline Matthews, 19, of Boonsboro, Maryland, was the top female finisher. In youth divisions, T. Carbaugh, 6, of Chambersburg won the boys under 8 race, and S. McLaurin, 8, of Greencastle led the girls under 8. T. Murray, 11, of Waynesboro won the boys 11-12 division, and S. Sterner, 12, of Lehighton claimed the girls 11-12 title.
