WAYNESBORO, Pa. — The Judy Elden Memorial Summer Concert Series continued July 23 at Renfrew with a performance by Reckless Moe & the Backseat Drivers, drawing a nice-sized crowd for an evening of live music.
The band, James, Frank and Bob, delivered a musical blend of country, rock, blues and pop. Their performance featured strong guitar work and harmonies that provided both energy and a relaxed atmosphere for those gathered on the lawn behind the Royer Museum House.
The concert was held in memory of Frank Davis as part of the ongoing series honoring Judy Elden, a longtime supporter and employee of Renfrew who worked the concerts before her passing in 2019. The annual series now serves as a memorial to her contributions.
The free Thursday evening concerts invite attendees to bring chairs or blankets and enjoy live music beginning at 6:30 p.m. Donations are accepted, and light refreshments are available at the Welcome Tent. Proceeds from donations and refreshment sales support programming at Renfrew Museum and Park.
Reckless Moe & the Backseat Drivers, described as seasoned performers, combined their talents to create a sound that was both stimulating and soothing, offering an enjoyable experience for those in attendance.
