WAYNESBORO, Pa — The American Legion hosted a lively Mother’s Day Craft Bazaar on Saturday, May 9, drawing a steady crowd between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The event featured 30 vendors, homemade food from the kitchen, and fundraising efforts benefiting Bellacatio and Pets for a Vet.

Local artisans, authors, bakers, and makers filled the venue with handcrafted goods ranging from jewelry and ceramics to baked treats and 3D‑printed creations. Organizer Jerri Pryor, representing JDL Handmade Crafts, coordinated the vendor lineup and ensured the event ran smoothly.

The Blue Ridge Garden Club, a civic‑minded group focused on gardening and community beautification, welcomed visitors with floral displays and information about their work. Nearby, That’s A Wrap showcased handcrafted wire‑art jewelry, while Glow Girl Naturals by Jamon offered body scrubs.

Crochet creations from Emily’s Handmade and books by author Judy S. Walter—including I Love Bacon, Connections to the Past, and Life with Mitzi—drew interest from shoppers looking for unique gifts.

Baked goods were a highlight, with Sweet Temptation selling circus animal cakes, Biscoff cookie butter cake, and other desserts. Fairy Floss Express added a whimsical touch with cotton candy in flavors such as wild cherry, piña colada, and orange.

3D printing was a crowd favorite thanks to S.L.M. Designs and Steve & Liz McRae. Steve demonstrated a live print of a “mystery egg” containing a surprise dinosaur, alongside dragons, swords, a Batman car, and a Connect 4 game. Liz complemented the display with her custom jewelry.

Other vendors included Customs by ShyAlexic with snow‑globe cups and tumblers, Blissful Ceramics by DLB, John McPherson with handmade cards, The Tallow Cow offering natural skincare products, Toni Flasher with floral arrangements and crochet items, Creative Totez and Tees, and Tiny Castle Clay, featuring polymer‑clay earrings by Jennifer Stephens.

The bazaar blended creativity, community spirit, and charitable purpose—an uplifting way to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend.
