CHAMBERSBURG, Pa — The 61st annual Franklin County Fair drew crowds throughout the week of July 5–11 at the Chambersburg Fairgrounds, offering a mix of traditional attractions, live entertainment and agricultural showcases.
Residents and visitors attended the weeklong event to enjoy classic fair food, livestock exhibitions and family-friendly entertainment. Popular menu items included Big Boy hoagies and country ham sandwiches, alongside a variety of other fair staples.
Agricultural displays remained a central focus, with cows, sheep, goats and pigs featured in exhibitions that highlighted the region’s farming heritage. Attendees had opportunities to view animals up close and support local youth and agricultural programs.
Entertainment events throughout the week included tractor pulls and Bull Ride Mania, both drawing large audiences. Live music also added to the lineup, with performances including Chris Woodward.
Organizers continued the fair’s tradition of offering free admission, helping maintain strong attendance and community engagement. The annual event provided an opportunity for families and community members to gather and celebrate local agriculture, entertainment and summer traditions.
