Greencastle-Antrim pitcher Paiton Gordon had a strong outing, not allowing any earned runs over 4 innings. Greencastle-Antrim was led offensively by Meadow Gambacurta, who scored 2 runs and reached base 4 times, and Lexi Jones, who scored 3 runs and reached base in all 4 of her plate appearances. The loss dropped Waynesboro’s record to 1-4, while Greencastle-Antrim’s win was their 4th straight on the road, improving their record to 8-2. Waynesboro will look to bounce back at home against Big Spring on Tuesday, while Greencastle-Antrim will hit the road to take on James Buchanan.
