FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. — State maintenance crews will perform seal coating and base repair work on several state routes in Franklin County during the week of Aug. 31 through Sept. 4.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced the upcoming schedule for Fannett and Guilford townships. Motorists should expect flagging operations and temporary traffic controls in affected work zones.
In Fannett Township, seal coating operations will take place on three state routes:
- State Route 4007 (Back Road): Work is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
- State Route 641 (Neelyton Road): Work is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.
- State Route 4006 (Cold Springs/Amberson Roads): Work is scheduled for Thursday and Friday.
In Guilford Township, crews will conduct base repair work on two state routes:
- State Route 2026 (Golf Course Road): Repairs are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
- State Route 2021 (Fetterhoff Chapel Road): Repairs are scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
PennDOT noted that the schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions, emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
