The angels came and took Yang Liu Ivy Peck, aged 37, of Elkview, West Virginia to Heaven unexpectedly from a tragic accident on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Ivy was born in Boutou, Inner Mongolia China on June 12, 1988 to Yuliang Liu(father) and Chunmei Liu (mother).
She is survived by her to loving parents; 2 wonderful aunts; 1 uncle; her sister cousin, Ger; her husband, Guy Peck; sister in-law, Kellie Summers and her husband Ronald Summers; her brother in-law, William S. Peck and his wife Birgitt; and her mother and father-in-law, Donna and Donald Baer.
Ivy attended the Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology where she graduated from the International School of International Trade. She met her future husband in 2009. They shared such a loving relationship and were by each other’s side in work and relaxation.
Ivy loved the mountains of West Virginia especially during the fall color changes of the trees. She loved attending auctions with her husband and working in her side business on Etsy. Her most enjoyable times of happiness were sitting on the beach and watching popping plovers with her husband, riding bikes side by side through the mountains during the fall, and sitting with her beloved watching sun sets. She always became especially joyful when her and Guy planned out trips to China to be with her parents.
She was so funny about rice that if she didn’t eat rice for a month or so she would tell Guy,” I’m making rice with dinner tonight because my eyes are getting too round.”
She was loved by all that met her and she will be missed by many but forgotten by none.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA with Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Wednesday afternoon, in the funeral home.
