William T. Orr, 64, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the Chamersburg Hospital. He was born July 14, 1960 in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, the son of the late Dorothy and William Orr. A graduate of James Buchanan High School, he worked for the Loewengart Tannery in Mercersburg for a good bit of his life and did many different types of work. He enjoyed helping his father-in-law in his auto garage when he was younger. He was a firefighter and ran with Mercersburg Fire Company 9 in Mercersburg PA. He loved helping people out as much as he could, enjoyed nature and wildlife animals, was a believer in the Lord and enjoyed talking about the Bible. William is survived by his four wonderful children: three sons: Josh Orr, Mike Orr, Dakota Orr, a daughter, Jessica Orr and a sister, and Suzanne Orr. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two wives: Patricia Orr and Sinda Wagaman. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
