William Harold Spriggs Jr, 50, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at the Chambersburg Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born November 25, 1975, in Hershey, Pennsylvania, the son of Pamela Goines and the late William Harold Spriggs, Sr. He was a Chambersburg Area Senior High School graduate and worked at Grove (Manitowoc Cranes) where, at one time, he painted cranes. He attended Clayton Memorial Church and enjoyed following the Steelers and the Chicago Bulls, playing cards with friends, watching movies, playing video games and occasionally going to the casino. William was a hard worker, known for his honesty and always being willing to help when he was asked. He enjoyed spending time with his family at family reunions and especially the time he spent with his children. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Laquonne Spriggs, daughter, Destiny Spriggs, stepfather, Richard Goines, Uncle Royal Knapper, Jr., Uncle John Doleman, Aunt Edna Mae Woods and numerous cousins. His maternal grandmother, Naomi Knapper, paternal grandparents, Viola (Doleman) and Albert Spriggs, Sr., along with his father, preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 16 at 12:00 PM at the Unity in Christ Church, 4301 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg PA with Rev. Lois Waters officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. The family requests omission of flowers.
